The purpose of the procurement guide is to detail for IPART staff the process and related procedures that are to be followed in relation to the purchase of all goods and/or services whilst adhering to applicable NSW legislative and Government requirements whilst ensuring that high levels of probity and compliance are maintained.

This will ensure that IPART applies best practice commercial principles whilst being accountable, transparent and fair in all its commercial dealings. Application of a standardised procedure will ensure that procurement activities are auditable, efficient and effective.

These procurement procedures are the minimum to be applied.
